cooler weather!
‘the coolth’ my mother used to say
a chance to
catch our breath
get body and soul
together
for just a day
enjoy some downtime
with the aircon
in the
OFF
position
and the punkah
stopped from spinning
put clothes on
fling the casements wide
welcome
sweet fresh air
inside
relax
deep sigh
unwind
with existential relief
fuck the beach
and fuck the pool
I hate summer
it is not
cool.
