tried a cartoon

a bald polroon

but could not nail the eyes

too soft

trustworthy

no matter how I tried

and that pleated mouth

that prune-y pout

did not look threatening

at all

there is an art

to this brand

of sketching

that I’m not quite

getting

yet

but I enjoyed

the exercise

the colouring- in bit

it is

a nice pic

and I will persist

in this

til I can blend
