is hard

to face

brace for brutal

it’s not pretty

all that skin

so pink

exposed

so grey

a brand new way

to shame

to spotlight

your obscure particular

affliction

no restriction

on the public gaze now

nothing left

to hide

conceal

excuse

how does it feel

to flaunt it

there’s no turning back now

no cringeing, crying

feeling sorry

and

with that comes the power

seize
