DAY 55 – Sept 26 but in 3 weeks time will it be 3 weeks more will the finish line keep creeping evermore distant from you and me the carrot and the stick Sisyphus and rock Prometheus and eagle Ixion and wheel Orpheus and Eurydice on a 5k Escher staircase Marie Celeste adrift in a fogbound sea doomed Willow Pattern lovers Space Odyssey 2020 starring Hal and me are we trapped in here forever beginning to lose faith but not yet hope Thai soccer players in a cave it’s exhausting being brave.
