CURFEW 45

Writer: JANE CLIFTONJANE CLIFTON

DAY 45 – Sept 16 now is the time to draw the line in sand declare precisely where you stand not since the war in Vietnam have divisions been so crystal clear the thin veneer of many friendships start to crack a shared love of music food and wine and footy teams no longer means jack when it comes down to life and death sense and sensibility pride and prejudice immorality and stupidity when this conflict settles we will not hurry back to perceptions or attachments we held dear before the flesh is picked away from ripe old bones of contention and what matters most exposed in stark and brutal comprehension.
