CURFEW 19

DAY 19 - AUG 21

A void I shall avoid with another cheeky dip into the 2018 well.....

May 13th

ART

ideas erupt

like bubbles in champagne

constantly fizzing

buzzing like flies

in your head

in your brain

out they pop

in they fly

from the sky

from the sea

from the road

from a key

in the air

in your hair

over there, look and see

in the wind

in a tree

the trick is to catch one

to tame it

to shape it

give structure and form

see it through to the end

do the work

take the time

give it care and attention

make no exception

for sloth or for shoddy

examine the body

of each new creation

adjust to perfection

until close inspection

yields nothing

but joy

in the idea

of something

from nothing

confusion

made clear.
